Pertamina University is a private non-civil service campus under the auspices of the Pertamina Foundation. In addition to engineering study programs in the science and technology cluster, Pertamina University also offers study programs in the social sciences and humanities cluster.

Universitas Pertamina has a vision, mission, and values that serve as the direction and reference for its development in achieving its goals.

The vision of Universitas Pertamina is to become a world-class energy-oriented university based on innovation and entrepreneurship in technology and business that empowers society and nurtures future leaders.

The mission of Universitas Pertamina is:
a. To provide high-quality education, academic development/research, and community service that address national and global challenges and needs in the fields of business and technology;
b. To inspire and transform the academic community into thinkers and practitioners of entrepreneurship;
c. To prepare students to face the rapidly changing and dynamic world, equipping them to solve real problems in related industries and the wider community;
d. To prepare character-driven future leaders to serve all sectors of society.
