Bidang Keahlian:
Develop Data Science algorithm of AI (Artificial Intelligent) and ML (Machine Learning) for big data available in each oil company.
Develop new subsurface technologies (for sandstone
carbonate
and unconventional reservoirs) based on issues/pain-points/problems that occur in Oil & Gas fields from many different basins in the world and to target increasing recovery of oil & gas in all of brown fields.
Generate SOP (Standard of Practice) for FDP (Field Development Plan) and High CO2 gas fields in many different basins in the world. via IOR & EOR (Improved and Enhanced Oil Recoveries).
Provide Advanced Technical Formation Evaluation on targeted oil fields with aiming to increase oil production by 5-15 %.
Generate new Formation Evaluation technologies related to increasing oil recoveries
by working closely with Research people in many different universities and oil companies.
Provide and review Petrophysical evaluations (also Geomechanics) for Static models before continuing to Dynamic model in many oil companies.
Interact with other researcher to develop methodologies for Petrophysical works (such as Sand-silt-clay model
Low contrast Low resistivity reservoirs
thinly bedded reservoirs
etc.) and Geomechanics works.
Interact with Operation Geologist and Drilling in designing Well-data Acquisition (i.e.
Logs
Cores
and DSTs) of each proposed drill well for a comprehensive formation evaluation.
Research on several subjects (including teaching and mentoring) that are related to: 1) Open-hole log analysis (clastic and carbonate reservoirs). 2) Cased-hole & Production log analysis. 3) Pressure Prediction. 4) Core analysis. 5) Fractured reservoir formation evaluation.

Serawak
and Sabah basins) b. Gulf Mexico. c. Canada. d. West Africa (Nigeria
