Biografi

Mega menyelesaikan gelar Doctor of Engineering dari Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan dengan memperoleh beasiswa Pemerintah Jepang; Monbukagakusho (MEXT) dalam waktu 3 tahun. Sedangkan, gelar sarjana dan master diperoleh di Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang jurusan Teknik dan Ilmu Lingkungan melalui program Beasiswa Unggulan. Ketertarikan Mega dalam bidang analisis merkuri, penilaian kerentanan masyarakat dan lingkungan, serta toksikologi pada area penambangan emas, menjadikan Mega berhasil mempublikasikan penelitian di International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology; Water Science and Technology; Environment and Ecology dan aktif menjadi reviewer di salah satu jurnal international terindex Scopus. Selain itu, Mega juga memperoleh penghargaan sebagai High Evaluation pada Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry serta menghadiri International Conference on Mercury as a Global Pollutant pada tahun 2015. Ditahun 2019 hingga 2022, Mega berhasil memperoleh dana penelitian internasional dari Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) berkolaborasi dengan DIKTI yang berkaitan dengan Limbah Plastik di Perariran Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan 26 publikasi terindeks Scopus, salah satunya di Marine Pollution Bulletin (Q1) sehingga diberikan perpanjangan 1 tahun dana penelitian internasional ini sampai tahun 2023. Di bidang pengabdian masyarakat, selama pandemi Covid-19, Mega berkolaborasi dengan tenaga ahli di bidang teknik mesin, teknik kimia serta kimia untuk membuat reaktor pirolisis, sebagai upaya penangan limbah plastik dan masker medis. Sekarang, Mega aktif menjadi tenaga ahli dari Kementerian Energi Baru, Terbarukan dan Konservasi Energi bekerjasama dengan UNDP dan UNEP, khususny dibidang penanganan limbah lampu yang mengandung merkuri. Mega dipercaya menjadi Ketua Centre of Excellence "Sustainable Technology Center-Pertamina Institute of Research" yang fokus bergerak pada energi baru terbarukan serta lingkungan, termasuk analisis dampak lingkungan kegiatan industri.
