Biografi

Dr.Eng. Ari Rahman, S.T., M.Eng. meraih gelar Doctor of Engineering (Dr.Eng.) dari Department of Environmental Solution Technology, Ryukoku University, Japan. Ari memperoleh Beasiswa Monbukagakusho dari Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan untuk Program Research Student, Master Course, dan Doctoral Course. Bidang keahlian dan ketertarikan penelitan (Research Interest) Ari, diantaranya: Adsorption Treatment (Batch System), Color Removal Treatment, Sludge Recycling (Brick and Adsorbent Production), Waste to Energy (Refused Derived Fuel), Carbon Footprint Assessment, Health and Safety Environment, Ergonomic and Working Posture Analysis. Saat ini Ari memiliki Jabatan Fungsional Lektor (Assistant Professor) di Universitas Pertamina. Hasil dari berbagai penelitian tersebut telah dipresentasikan dalam berbagai International scientific conferences seperti: International Water Association Conference, Annual Conference of Japan Society on Water Environment, Water and Environment Technology Conference, Asian Pacific Landfill Symposium, dll. Ari memiliki publikasi di beberapa reputable international journal, diantaranya: Journal of Cleaner Production, Environmental Technology, Journal of Water and Environment, Water Science and Technology, dll. Ari pernah bekerja di industri, universitas, dan terlibat dalam berbagai proyek terkait studi kualitas lingkungan bersama Dinas Tata Ruang dan Cipta Karya, Chevron Geothermal Salak, Ltd., PT. Pertamina EP Asset 4, dll. Dalam organisasi profesi dan keilmuan, saat ini Ari tercatat sebagai Pengurus Ikatan Ahli Teknik Penyehatan dan Teknik Lingkungan Indonesia (ITAPI) Periode 2018-2022 dan International Associate Member of Japan Society on Water Environment. Kiprahnya dalam bidang Teknik Lingkungan, mengantarkan Ari memperoleh penghargaan dari Japan Society on Water Environment for JSWE-IDEA Water Environment International Exchange Award pada Tahun 2021.
