Dr. Nonni research interests covers synthesis of carbon quantum dots for drug delivery, polymer composite, adsorption, and photocatalytic process. She has secured various research grants on utilization of carbon quantum dots for photocatalytic removal of organic pollutant, and detection and adsorption of heavy metals in aquatic environment, as well as metal recovery using membrane. She is also interested in modification of carbon quantum dots through doping and functionalization to improve the photocatalytic performance.
