UNIVERSITAS PERTAMINA SCHOLARSHIP

Submission of Universitas Pertamina Economic Scholarship for academic year 2019/2020 is open to high school graduates or equivalent of 2019, 2018 and 2017 who has registered and passed the Universitas Pertamina Entrance Examination for the period of January 2019 or March 2019 (Wave/Phase 1 and Wave/Phase 2 of the Entrance Examination), with outstanding academic achievements but struggling with FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY to attend and / or complete education at Universitas Pertamina.

Scholarships are awarded for a maximum of 8 (eight) semester study periods with annual evaluations.

2019/2020 Universitas Pertamina Scholarship Types:

  • Type 1: 100% Institutional Development Contribution/Donation Fee (Sumbangan Pengembangan Institusi (SPI)) Exemption and 100% Education Implementation Donation/Contribution Fee (Sumbangan Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan (SPP)) Exemption
  • Type 2: 100% Institutional Development Donation Fee (Sumbangan Pengembangan Institusi (SPI)) Exemption and 50% Education Implementation Donation Fee (Sumbangan Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan (SPP)) Exemption

 

Economic Scholarship Registration Procedure:

  • Prospective students register for the Universitas Pertamina Entrance Examination (UM-UP) for the period of January 2019 (Registration opens 10 December 2018) or Period March 2019 (Registration opens 21 January 2019).
  • Prospective Students carry out UM-UP payments through the designated bank to obtain the exam number.
  • Prospective students complete their personal data, choose a scholarship program and print an Entrance Examination card.
  • Prospective students who choose an economic scholarship program are welcome to download and complete the form available on this page to then send it via email to address:beasiswa@universitaspertamina.ac.id cc student.up@gmail.com with the following files:
  1. Scan (not photo) of 2019/2020 Universitas Pertamina Economic Scholarship Submission Form which has been completed and signed on the Rp. 6,000. duty stamp. The Universitas Pertamina Economy Scholarship Submission Form can be downloaded at the bottom page of the Economic Scholarship Registration Procedure;
  2. Scan (not photo)of a Financial Difficulty Certificate (SKM) or an Financial Inability Certificate (SKTM) original area of residence. Where the prospective student resides most recently (administered no more than three months before the scholarship proposal);
  3. Scan (not photo) of Family Card (KK);
  4. Scan (not photo) of prospective student ID(KTP) / Student Card;
  5. Scan (not photo) of both parents’ ID cards(KTP);
  6. Scan (not photos) 1-5 semester report cards that are legalized (save in one .pdf file);
  7. Scan (not photo) of Students’ Parents or Guardian’s Salary slip for the last 3 (three) months or a substitution of a pay slip (for parents who work as farmers, traders, or other professions with no monthly salary slips) issued by the prospective students’ original area of residence ;
  8. Scan (not photo) of proof of payment of electricity bills for prospective student residence 3 (three) months before the Entrance Examination (proof of payment for electricity in October, November and December 2018 for Universitas Pertamina Entrance Examination participants for the January period, or proof of payment in December 2018, January and February 2019 for Universitas Pertamina Entrance Examination participants for the period of March 2019);
    * If the electricity in the residence of prospective students applying for economic scholarships is prepaid electricity (using tokens), please come to the nearest PLN office to print electricity usage in the required month. ** If prospective students applying for economic scholarships live in rented houses, where rent paid already includes payment of electricity, is permitted to request a statement of proof of electricity bill payment in the residence.
  9. Scan (not photo) of the Property tax(PBB) bills of prospective students’ residence in 2018;
    * If prospective students applying for economic scholarships live in homes that are not privately owned (rent or live with other families), please request a certificate of replacement for the Property tax (PBB) bill from the head of the management of the area of residence.
  10. An essay/writing of 4 (four) paragraphs consisting of no less than 600 (six hundred) words and no more than 1000 (one thousand) words with the theme “Why Should I be Chosen for a Universitas Pertamina Economic Scholarship.”;
  11. Scan (not photos) a maximum of three best achievement certificates/award certificates indicating outstanding academic performance (optional); and
  12. Photograph of the building/home (front view and living room of the prospective students’ residence.
  • All the files must be saved as a .pdf format with THE MAXIMUM SIZE FOR EACH file not exceeding 750 KB (Seven Hundred fifty Kilobytes).. Naming format for each file is: [file number] _ [file type] _ [name of scholarship applicant] _ [exam number] | example: [02] _SKM_Jimmy Hendrik_123456789.pdf.

All files that have been converted into .pdf format must be collected and compiled in 1 folder and compressed in the .zip or .rar or .7zip or .7z format and given the folder name: [scholarship name] _ [exam number] example: Jimmy Hendrik_123456789.rar. The MAXIMUM FILE SIZE is 10MB (ten Megabytes).

  • Prospective Students who passed the Universitas Pertamina Entrance Examination for the period of January 2019 must send all required files and documents for submission of Scholarship application no later than January 19, 2019 at 12.00 WIB (Western Indonesia Time) to the scholarship email @universitaspertamina.ac.id (cc kemahasiswaan.up@gmail.com). Prospective Students who passed the Universitas Pertamina Entrance Examination for the period of March 2019 must send all required files and documents for submission of Scholarship application no later than March 23, 2019 at 12.00 WIB (Western Indonesia Time) to the scholarship email @universitaspertamina.ac.id (cc kemahasiswaan.up@gmail.com). Failure or delay in sending of the files and documents required, will cause scholarship submissions not to be processed/withdrawn (the name of the prospective student will be dropped from the list of 2019/2020 Universitas Pertamina Economic Scholarship applicants) and the prospective student for the scholarship will automatically be converted into a prospective student for the regular program.
  • The inability of prospective scholarship applicants to follow all the rules and guidelines set by the committee will result in the withdrawal of the scholarship application file without prior notice.
  • The 2019/2020 Universitas Pertamina Economic Scholarship Selection Committee will select and announce the results of the selection of economic scholarships for the period of January 2019 and March 2019 simultaneously in mid-June 2019.

Prospective students who are declared not eligible for an Economic Scholarship can re-register as a student in Universitas Pertamina Regular Program (Deadline for payment is June 30, 2019).

Universitas Pertamina provides the opportunity for obtaining Achievement Scholarships in the form of 100% and 50% exemption from Institutional Development Contribution/Donation Fee (Sumbangan Pengembangan Institusi (SPI)) for 100 (one hundred) Top Scorers in the Universitas Pertamina Entrance Examination for the period of April 2019 (Wave/Phase 3). All participants of the Entrance Examination for the period of April 2019 Period will be given the opportunity/eligible to receive a Universitas Pertamina Achievement Scholarship.

    1. UNIVERSITAS PERTAMINA SCHOLARSHIP 2016 & 2017 BATCH

Greetings!

Universitas Pertamina welcomes batch 2016 and 2017 students to apply for 2017/2018 EVEN SEMESTER SUPERIOR SCHOLARSHIP.

Even Semester Superior Scholarship is a form of award given by Universitas Pertamina to students with excellent academic achievements who has passed all courses in the 2017/2018 Even Semester. Even Semester Superior Scholarships are submitted at the end of the semester for 100% Education Implementation Donation/Contribution Fee (Sumbangan Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan (SPP)) exemption in the following semester. There is no learning contract that must be signed by the Even Semester Superior Scholarship recipient. The terms and completed file submission for the Even Semester Superior Scholarship are as follows:

  1. Good behavior (never violates the Academic Rules or Student Ethics Code);
  2. Passed all courses and obtained a Semester IV Achievement Index of not less than 3.25 (three point two five) without a D or an E Grade for those in 2016 class, and 2017/2018 Odd and Even Semester Grade Score of no less than 3.25 (three point two five) without D or E grade for those in 2017 class. This must be proven by screenshots  of transcripts obtained/from Academic Information System of Universitas Pertamina (Sistem Informasi Akademik Universitas Pertamina (SIUP)), signed by the Head of the Study Program and stamped with a faculty stamp.
  3. Achievements in a variety of academic and non-academic activities on and off campus within/during the last one year, as evidenced by scans of achievement certificates or committee certificates which have been obtained/achieved in the last 12 (twelve) months;
  4. Completed/filled Semester Superior Scholarship application form with signature above the Rp. 6,000 duty stamp form can be downloaded here);
  5. Scan of valid Student Identity Card (KTM);

Semester Superior Scholarship application procedure:

  1. Students must scan all required files/documents for submission of scholarship application in .pdf format, save it in 1 folder and compress it in the .zip or .rar or .7zip or .7z format and name the folder: BUS GENAP 17/18_ [Name] _ [NIM].
  2. Students must send all required files/documents for submission of Scholarship application to the scholarship@universitaspertamina.ac.id cc kemahasiswaan.up@gmail.com with e-mail subject BUS GENAP 17/18_[Nama]_[NIM] no later than Friday, June 8, 2018 at 20.00 WIB. The maximum size of the files attached is 3 MB (three Megabyte) . Failure to send all required files/documents on time, will result in the application to not be processed;
  3. The Universitas Pertamina Scholarship Selection Committee will check the eligibility of the student to receive the Even Semester Superior Scholarship and announce the selection no later than 3 (three) days before the deadline for payment of the 2018/2019 Odd Semester Education Implementation Donation/Contribution Fee (Sumbangan Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan (SPP)).

THE SUBMISSION TIMELINE FOR 2017/2018 ODD SEMESTER SUPERIOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Selection Period              : 21 – 30 June 2018

Announcement of results       : 07 July 2018

  1. CONTINUING/CONTINUAL STUDY SCHOLARSHIP FOR 2016 AND 2017 BATCH

The Continuing/Continual Study Scholarship is a Scholarship given to students who did not apply for an Economic Scholarship at the beginning of the course but has financial difficulties in the payment of Education Implementation Donation/Contribution Fee (Sumbangan Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan (SPP)) during their study period. This scholarship will be opened at the end of every even semester and is directed and prioritized to students with FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY. The Continuing/Continual Study Scholarship provides opportunities for students to get a 50% deduction for Education Implementation Donation/Contribution Fee (Sumbangan Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan (SPP)) for the remainder of the study period.

Students receiving the Continuing/Continual Study Scholarship will be signing a Study Contract that regulates the rights and obligations of scholarship recipients (IPS scores and minimum GPA, the obligation to comply with regulations at Universitas Pertamina, and other obligations). The eligibility of students for this scholarship will be reviewed every semester (IPS) and at the end of each academic year. Universitas Pertamina Student Affairs Directorate has the right to withdraw scholarships that has been awarded to students if they are failed to act on/deemed to not fulfil the terms and conditions of the study contract.

Files/Documents required for the Continuing/Continual Study Scholarship are as follow:

 

  1.    Universitas Pertamina Continuing/Continual Study Scholarship Application Form which has been completed and signed on the Rp. 6,000. duty stamp. The Universitas Pertamina Continuing/Continual Study Scholarship Submission Form can be downloaded at the bottom page of the Economic Scholarship Registration Procedure;
  2.    Authentic/Original Financial Difficulty Certificate (SKM) issued by the district head/management of students’ area of residence (kelurahan);
  3.    Printed Transcripts of each semester obtained/from Academic Information System of Universitas Pertamina (Sistem Informasi Akademik Universitas Pertamina (SIUP)) or Printed Transcripts obtained from Directorate of Academic and Student Affairs and signed by the Education Administration Manager (Direktorat Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan dan ditandatangani oleh Manajer Administrasi Pendidikan);
  4.    Photocopy of Student Card (KTM) and Identity Card (KTP) of Students’ parents / guardians (photocopied on the same sheet);
  5.    Photocopy of Family Card(KK);
  6.    Photocopy of Students’ parent/guardian’s salary slip/paycheck, if the parent / guardian works as a farmer/fisherman/trader or other job that does not have a paycheck, students can attach a certificate that lists the nominal of the income/salary from the district head/management of the area of residence. (kelurahan) (original letter with stamp and handwritten signature) ;
  7.    Photocopy of proof of payment for electricity bill for the last 3 (three) months (if student’s house uses a token / prepaid, students can go to the nearest PLN office to print proof of electricity usage for the past three months);
  8.    Photocopy of the Property tax(PBB) bills of prospective students’ residence or a certificate/letter of replacement for the Property tax (PBB) bill from the head of the management of the area of residence (kelurahan).
  9.    Photograph of the building/home (front view and living room of the prospective students’ residence).
  10.  Letter stating that the student has not received an Economic Scholarship or other scholarships from Universitas Pertamina and has never been terminated/withdrawn in the partaking of an economic scholarship for violating a study contract.

 

Procedure for Submission of Continuing/Continual Study Scholarships:

  1.    Students’ submission of all required files/documents (hard copy, arranged in order) for the scholarships application, via post / other expeditions or directly to the Student Service Function in the Rectorate Building on the 4th floor of Universitas Pertamina. Files collected outside the specified deadline WILL NOT BE PROCESSED;
  2.    Universitas Pertamina Scholarship Selection Committee checks the validity and eligibility of the file/documents or information submitted and the selection of scholarship recipients. The selection results will be announced no later than 3 (three) weeks before the Odd semester begins.

THE SUBMISSION TIMELINE FOR THE 2017/2018 ACADEMIC YEAR CONTINUING/CONTINUAL STUDY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
