A : Registration of the Pertamina University Entrance Examination in 2019 will be held in 4 (four) periods, namely:

1. January 2019 period

Registration for the Pertamina University Entrance Examination for the period of January 2019 will be opened on December 10, 2018 until January 18, 2019.

2. March 2019 period

A : Pertamina University Entrance Exams 2019 will be held in the following cities.

1. January 2019 period, will be carried out simultaneously in 16 (sixteen) cities in Indonesia, comprising of:

Banda Aceh, Medan, Pekanbaru, Padang, Palembang, Jambi, Jakarta, Bandung, Cirebon, Tasikmalaya, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Balikpapan, Banjarmasin, Makassar

2. March 2019 period, will be carried out simultaneously in 11 (eleven) cities in Indonesia, comprising of:

A : Pertamina University Entrance Examinations for the period of May 2019 will be held in 7 (seven) cities in Indonesia, comprising of Medan, Palembang, Jakarta, Cirebon, Yogyakarta, Surabaya and Makassar. A : The Pertamina University Entrance Examination in 2019 will be held on:

1. January 2019 period

Pertamina University Entrance Examination for the period of January 2019 will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019..

2. March 2019 period

Pertamina University Entrance Examination for the period of March 2019 will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019..

3. May 2019 period

The Pertamina University Entrance Examination for the period of May 2019 will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2019..

4. The July 2019 period will be announced in a later date.

A : The registration fee for the Pertamina University Entrance Examination is divided into two categories, namely:

  1. Entrance Examination for IPA/IPS (Natural / Social Sciences): Rp 300.000 (##three hundred thousand rupiah##)
  2. Entrance Examination for IPC (Natural + Social Sciences):* : Rp 375.000 (##three hundred seventy five thousand rupiah##)

*  Pertamina University Entrance Examination for IPC (Natural + Social Sciences) can only be attended by high school students with science majors.

** For vocational school students, the list of vocational field programs approved by each study program can be seen in the relevant question points.

A : The educational fee at Pertamina University is divided into two types, namely the Institutional Development Donation Fee (Sumbangan Pengembangan Institusi (SPI)) and Education Implementation Donation Fee (Sumbangan Penyelenggaraan Pendidikan (SPP))

The Institutional Development Donation Fee (SPI) is only paid once at the beginning of semester
While the costs of the Education Implementation Donation (SPP) are paid each semester.
The fees are of this following:

1. Institutional Development Donations Fee (SPI)

a. For those who passed the Pertamina University Entrance Examination for the period of January 2019, an SPI fee of Rp. 15,000,000 will be charged.

b. For those who pass the Pertamina University Entrance Examination for the period of March 2019 will be charged an SPI fee of Rp. 17,500,000.

c. For those who passed the Entrance Examination of Pertamina University for the period of May 2019, an SPI fee of Rp. 20,000,000 will be charged.

d. For those who pass the Pertamina University Entrance Examination for the period of July 2019, an SPI fee of Rp. 22,500,000 will be charged.

 

2.  Education Implementation Donation fee (SPP) amounting to IDR 10,000,000 (##ten million rupiah##) paid at the beginning of the semester.

A : An installment payment mechanism is available for prospective students who have difficulties in terms of payment. For prospective students who want to get an installment payment mechanism, please contact pmb@universitaspertamina.ac.id as soon as possible, after you receive the acceptance of enrollment, with the email subject: [CICILAN_UM2_NAMA_NOMOR TES] / [INSTALLMENT_UM2_NAME_TESTNUMBER]

Please note that the installment mechanism application will be closed 7 days from the date of payment deadline in each Entrance Examination period.

A : It is required for the prospective students to show their 2019 SNMPTN or SBMPTN proof of graduation to be able to be eligible for withdrawal.
Graduates of Universities or other institutions that do not go through the 2019 SNMPTN or SBMPTN will NOT be able to submit their withdrawal.

Prospective students may submit a request for university withdrawal on the following dates:

-Wthdrawal/resignation : The withdrawal appeal can be made at a maximum of 7 days after the announcement of the 2019 SBMPTN. The amount of the refunded fee is a refund of the tuition fees already paid with a return of 100% Semester 1 tuition, while the SPI fee will not be refunded.-

Participants must attach the resignation requirements, as follows:

  • Withdrawal/resignation form (Downloaded from the Registration page on the Pertamina University official website);
  • Pertamina University entrance examination card;
  • Proof of Payment of Pertamina University SPI & SPP Fees (Original and Photocopy);
  • Photocopy of the specific bank passbook front page (which is used to pay for tuition fees);
  • Proof of 2019 SNMPTN or SBMPTN Graduation.

A : Pertamina University Entrance Examination Participants have the right to choose a maximum of 4 (four) study programs provided that:

  • High school students majoring in science can choose 4 of 15 study programs (science, engineering, and social);
  • High school students majoring in Social Sciences can only choose 4 of the 4 study programs (Economics, Management, Communication Studies, International Relations);
  • High school students majoring in language can only choose 3 out of 3 study programs (Management, Communication Studies, International Relations);
  • Vocational students can choose according to the majors qualified by specific study programs.

Make sure to have an internet connection that is stable during the process of filling in your personal data. Next, you can check the folder where you downloaded the file. We recommend not using IDM to download exam cards. After the card has been uploaded, you can print the test card. We recommend that you use a PC / laptop equipped with the Adobe Reader application (https://get.adobe.com/reader/) to read the exam card file.

  3. After filling out the registration form, participants will receive a Confirmation Email by the email that has been registered
  4. Participants make a payment to the Virtual Account number (BNI VA) that has been received via the Registration Confirmation emai
  5. After making the payment, the participant will automatically receive an email Receipt for the New Student Registration payment, which includes a registration number and password
  6. LOGIN to the page https://pendaftaran.universitaspertamina.ac.id using the registration number and password that has been received
  7. Fill in the personal data completely and clearly, click Save
  8. Fill in the Pertamina University promotion questionnaire, click Save
  9. Download and print Examination card

A:  Pertamina University Entrance Examination will be held at 8:30 a.m. 12.00 (local time) for the Natural/Science and Social Sciences (IPA & IPS) exam groups, and at 07:30 a.m. 12.00 (local time) for the Natural/Science + Social Sciences (IPC) exam group. Participants are expected to be present one hour in advance to re-register. If participants are late, they will not allowed to participate in the examination.

A : There are 2 types of scholarships offered at Pertamina University, namely:

Scholarship Invitation

Scholarship Invitation are a type of scholarship aimed for outstanding children in Indonesia. This scholarship is one form of Pertamina University’s commitment to support the implementation of higher education in Indonesia and the world.

Economic Scholarship

Type I: Exempted from SPI fees and exempt from tuition fees of each semester (IDR 10,000,000 / semester) from semester 1 to semester 8

Type II: Exempted from SPI fees, deduction for semester tuition fees of 50%, only required payment of (IDR 5,000,000 / semester) from semester 1 to semester 8.

Both types of economic scholarships are given based on the economic conditions of prospective student parents / guardians.

A : Participants need to take general registration steps and pay registration fees. When completing personal data, there will be a scholarship option. Participants must fill in the requested information as well as submit the complete documents for applying for an economic scholarship. A: For prospective students who have been declared eligible and accepted for a scholarship, they these documents at the time of re-registration as follows:

  1. Student guardians / parents’ salary slip of the last 3 months (for entrepreneurs or business owners their salary slip must be legalized or authorized by RT / RW of origin area).
  2. Photocopy of parent ID and Family Card (KK)
  3. Financial difficulty certificate from the original area of residence
  4. Photocopy of last year’s Land & Building (LNB) (PBB)tax bill
  5. Photocopy of electricity bill 3 (three) months prior to the date
  6. Health certificate (original)

FACULTY OF EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY (FTEP)

  1. Geophysical Engineering Study Program

Geophysical Engineering can be applied in subsurface investigation activity related to the exploration and production of earth energy resources, earth disaster mitigation, Geotechnical and environmental problem solving. The subsurface investigation is based on an analysis of the image beneath the earth’s surface. Therefore, graduates of Geophysics Engineering are required to be able to process data in the field, process Geophysical data, and interpret the data appropriately.
The job prospects of a graduate of Geophysical Engineering are as follows:

  • Field of Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, such as Oil and Gas companies and Oil and Gas Service Providers (Pertamina, ExxonMonil, Chevron, Schlumberger, Halliburton, Elnusa) and government agencies (Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (Kementerian ESDM), SKK Migas, LEMIGAS, BUMD Migas)
  • Geothermal, namely in oil and gas companies and service providers (Pertamina, Hitay Energy, Star energy, Halliburton, Elnusa) and government agencies (Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (Kementerian ESDM), Dirjen EBTKE)

  1. Geological Engineering Study Program

Geological Engineering Study Program studies the process of the formation of the earth, its composition, structure, and its chemical and physical properties. This study program integrates mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology and computing in studying how the earth comes to exist, reconstructs what has happened, is happening, and what will happen due to earth processes.

Graduates of Geology Engineering can contribute in the fields of:

  • Energy, Oil and Gas: carry out the initial stages of exploration
  • Mining: exploring and exploiting minerals, metals and non-metals
  • Environment: ensuring that buildings are safe, environmentally friendly and sustainable
  • Renewable Energy (Geothermal): explores and exploits environmentally friendly renewable energy

  1. Petroleum Engineering Study Program

Pertamina University Petroleum Engineering Study Program focuses on developing science and technology to explore and produce, both fossil energy and new and renewable energy. The scientific scope of Petroleum Engineering includes the application of drilling techniques, reservoir techniques, production techniques and formation evaluation techniques in the oil and gas and geothermal industries. Pertamina University Petroleum Engineering Study Program students will learn various things related to the process of extracting petroleum and natural gas from the reservoir.
